Whoa, was that Summer that just blew by? Two thousand five is seeming to roll along at Mach 5, a speed any racer could appreciate. Here at stevenolson.com, things have kept pace with a variety of projects in enterprise software. Shifting gears:

Technical
In just six weeks, I developed three hundred thirty pages of documentation for an enterprise-class product. The documentation was intended for business analysts in the pharmaceutical industry and delivered in PDF format. A merit badge will be awarded to the first of them to get all the way through it. The Bronzed Monocle of Eye Strain, perhaps?

Marketing
For an enterprise client last quarter, I completed a brochure, which has now been posted. To check it out on the Edge Dynamics site, click here. Get it while you can, for it is changing soon.

Technical
Coinciding with the release of the aforementioned documentation, I rewrote two user manuals and a language reference guide for a major release of the underlying platform. While drafts of these documents had been completed, additional materials were needed to extend their reach and applicability to all potential audiences. Concurrently, I developed a procedure for proofing documentation to elevate the overall quality of releases to customers for the company.

Marketing
A friend is in the process of taking his software project through the venture capital maze and into the market. I developed a single-fold brochure describing the product, suggesting its potential avenues of development, the company's status, and its needs from potential partners.

Update
I know, I know: the web site is in need of updates to my samples, my clients, and even the overall look. If you have specific comments on what you think should be done, let me hear you. Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Eleven weeks into marriage, life is more of the same, yet somehow better. And while the tremendous rush from the wedding has settled a bit, a flicker of it can be recaptured in these photos.

Note: I am the groom.

Have a terrific Fall.

Cheers,
-SteveO
